Rabbit Bonding Explained

Rabbit bonding, also known as rabbit pairing or companionship, is the process of introducing two or more rabbits to live together harmoniously. Rabbits are naturally social animals that enjoy the company of their own kind. Bonded rabbits can provide one another with companionship, reduce boredom, and encourage more exercise and enrichment.

During the early stages of bonding, a rabbit hierarchy (also known as a social structure or pecking order) is established. This hierarchy defines dominance, submission, and individual roles within the pair or group. Understanding this process helps ensure harmony and makes it easier to manage multi-rabbit households.
